In response to recent events and the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police, The Earth Issue and its collaborating artists are supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
For the next 30 days, The Freedom Fundraiser will be selling prints from over 80 artists. All proceeds will be donated to the organisations on Bail Funds: George Floyd and the 4Front Project, a UK based youth organisation that empowers young people to fight for justice, peace and freedom. This will then be shared between bailout funds, racial justice organisers and mutual aid funds.
For the next month, you will be able to pick up a print from a growing list of artists. So far there is work available from Ronan Mckenzie, Denisse Ariana Pérez, Samuel Bradley, Harley Weir and many more.
The Earth Issue is a collective of artists and creative professionals working at the intersection of fine art and environmentalism. They provide a platform – through publications, exhibitions, educational talks, and other collaborative projects – for creative thinkers, and aspiring and established visual artists who seek to raise awareness about our environment.
