Photographers Philipp Meuser and Kolja Warnecke examine the meaning of home and harmony in their on going series Paradox Country. Through stunning landscapes of vast mountain ranges and open forests the pair explore in detail the relationship to place and the meanings of home, looking deeper into the lives of those that find connection to a place, that the paradox is “they have never had more freedom to shape themselves in the way they want but also to have never been subject to so many pressures telling them what is desirable.”
